Yumiko is an experienced project manager whose exceptional organizational skills and unparalleled attention to detail have brought more than 1,400 housing units to completion since she joined
Acanthus Architecture in 1997. Her projects include affordable rental communities, luxury apartments and condominiums, assisted living facilities, and time-share resorts. She is a skilled
team coordinator and project manager, capable of taking a project from concept and completion.
Yumiko grew up in Tokyo, Japan, and is bilingual (Japanese and English). She has traveled to five of the world’s seven continents and also enjoys reading, birding and gardening.

Peter joined Acanthus Architecture and Planning in 1998, and has been involved with a wide variety of projects. As a project manager, he is responsible for taking a project from concept, through site
planning, building design, design review, and working drawings, construction administration and project completion for residential communities from 14 to 392 units per site. Locales for these
projects include San Diego, Scottsdale, Flagstaff, and Phoenix.
He has pursued continuing education in city codes, building codes, handicap codes, design for aging, green building, and product knowledge seminars. He is well versed in AutoCAD, Excel,
Photoshop and Quark Xpress. His other duties include project photography, promotional work, and managing the IT needs of the firm.

Timothy joined Acanthus Architecture and Planning in the Fall of 2005, and has been involved with multifamily projects of various types. Since joining Acanthus, Timothy’s most recent projects
have included work on apartments, state tax-credit housing, hotels, and apartment rehabs. His continuing education includes seminars in green materials/applications, marketing techniques, and
building code understanding. Timothy also has extensive knowledge of residential plumbing systems having had worked in the plumbing contracting field for many years.
As a project manager, he is responsible for taking a project from site concept designs, through building design and working drawings. He is versatile in AutoCAD, Adobe’s Illustrator, and
Photoshop. Timothy also has useful knowledge of SketchUp and is currently familiarizing himself with Adobe's Dreamweaver.
